The latest update from the Winter Olympics 2010 at Vancouver is that the Canadian skater pair is at 9th place after their personal best score of 115.77 for their skate to "Sunrise” from the orchestra "Grand Canyon Suite”. ESPN and CTV Olympics report that the Canadian national level champion skater pair Anabelle Langlois and Cody Hay performed their best ever at the Vancouver Olympics 2010 on 15th February 2010. Their performance fetched them the best ever personal score of 115.77 making a total points of 179.97 to end up at the 9th place. Anabelle Langlois and Cody Hay performed on "Sunrise” from the "Grand Canyon Suite” which is from Ferde Grofé’s orchestra. It was composed during the period of 1929-1931. The specialty of the Grand Canyon Suite is that it has 5 movements or parts each of which evoke a particular scenic beauty of the Grand Canyon. The 5 parts are termed as "Sunrise", "Painted Desert", "On the Trail", "Sunset" and "Cloudburst". The theme of the Winter Olympics 2010 at Vancouver is "One Dream" by Sarah McLaughlin while the ceremony music was composed by Howard Shore and recorded with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra.
